how high should i lift my car to go through dips without hitting them?

i bought a toyota celica and has a body kit that is super low. it is like 2 inches above the floor. i want to lift it because the car hits everywhere like on dips and speed bumps. i dont want to lift it too high or too low

probably 6 or 7 inches should be fine
