Question:

How is rubber used in this scenario?

A housekeeper friend told me that she was cleaning a room after the guests checked out. She said they had left behind a rubber sheet on the bed and there was lots of water everywhere. I guess something kinky took place, and I'm so curious to know what! Anybody have any idea what?

Answer:

The moon's albedo is already 0.12 so the best we could do would make it eight times as bright. That would be fairly bright under full moon but not enough, I think, to give us daylight at night. The Moon has an apparent luminosity 450,000 times less than the Sun. And there are the different phases of the Moon to be considered.
I don't know whether you have attempted to calculate how much reflective material would be needed to cover the Moon, but making that much stuff and getting it up there and fixed in place would keep every country of the world fully employed for years and years. That would have a pertty dramatic effect on life on Earth (at least for humans). I think you might be on to something ;)
I would say the Kindle Fire because it's kinda like an Ipad
Plants do better when they have more light but your technique wouldn't be consistent as the amount of reflected light would vary with the moon's phase. Discovery Chanel recently had a better use for your reflective material. It's used over melting glaciers in the Arctic especially where lakes are developing. As the lakes grow they promote the glacier breaking away from the primary mass.
Every day would be like a disco.
