I recently skipped the safety goggles. In my opinion it's not really important to wear goggles.
It wouldn't be fake. It'd be a miracle though. If they had won, wow. I would've been stunned. But I didn't expect them to survive against the likes of Wade Barrett, Jack Swagger, Alexander Rusev, Fandango, and Alberto Del Rio.
Okay. There must be smoke alarms and carbon monoxide detectors in rentals. It is the law. You must make a copy of your complaints/reasons why you are with holding the rent before you send her a copy you keep Original. Have it notarized if you wish. Plus you must send it registered mail to make it legal. Make the letter short. Just the facts. Tub leaks into lower apartment. Worry it could fall through the floor. Electrical problem could start a fire. No detectors. Exposed gas lines. Tell her you will with hold all rent until matters are repaired. Any fire station will give you free smoke and carbon monoxide detectors.
OK, here's my theory. You find another apartment, and just move out before you are electrocuted, boiled, or burned to death. There is No way this woman is goingto be able to remedy any of this before you finish your degree, even if you are in high school accelerated classes and are looking to go to med school. You need to move, in order to be safe, and there is nothing more for which to pay her. Done. Once you get your stuff out tomorrow, report her to the board of health, and make yourself scarce.
Hey, I also live in cny so I know a little about the way the local law works at least. As someone has said before, rent can only be withheld if the conditions are dangerous. A leaky tub does not fall under this category but if its leaking through the floor chances are mold has formed underneath the tile in your bathroom and this is a health problem. The exposed gas lines, and lack of smoke and carbon monoxide detectors are also dangerous. I would suggest to take pictures of anything that is bad in your apartment to have proof for when your land lady takes you to court (she will) for with holding rent. Also look for another apartment because in my experience a slum lord is a slum lord and if anything goes wrong with your apartment even after she fixes the present problems, she's going to take just as long or longer to fix it if she ever does. But definitley look for another apartment so it doesn't appear to a judge that you're just trying to get out of paying your rent.
