Question:

how much could a fire place help in heating bills?

i have one in my living room. i reall fire place. would this help in the winter with my oil heat bill?. i want to try and use one of those prepared logs you buys in lowes, duro flame or something?

Answer:

Win7 Outbound (program) blocking: Control panel Windows Firewall Advanced settings Highlight Outbound rules on upper left; then on right side of same window New Rule select 'Program' Next (next window) tick Program, then browse to get the correct filepath Next tick block Next tick Private Public) Next Name the rule (add comments so you remember why this is being done) Finish. The blockage you just created will now show on the Advanced Security Outbound rules window as a red no circle.
Ive always wondered that too lol. Just yesterday i was watching live free or die hard and bruce willis's charecter porpously knocked a hydrant over so as to spray the 'bad guys overhead in a helicopter with massive amounts of water. it worked but somehow i wonder if its physicaly possible ///. For some reason hydrant scenes are not easily forgotten. P
