Question:

How much does it cost if you set off a fire alarm?

I set off my house fire alarm for the first time and all the fire guys came over so Im wondering how much would it cost when the bill comes

Answer:

If it is a motorcycle, it is best to park it for the winter. Besides the huge danger (not only to yourself, but also others on the road) of riding in sub-zero cold on snow and ice, the engine will freeze among other things because they can't be properly winterized like a car for below zero temperatures. If you mean bicycle, studded tires will help, but a mountain bike with wider tires is better. A lot of people ride them in the winter. Plus you will need handlebar covers and a ski mask for your face to help prevent frost bite.
Ha ha, walking around in ski pants would definitely get you some looks since there aren't any resorts in the near area of Chicago. I suggest warm sweaters, wool is a good option. And those puffy jackets are great. Invest in a good hat/glove/scarf set. Your hands, face, and ears will get very cold in that kind of weather, especially if you're used to living in Texas. Get a good quality pair of jeans to help block out the heat. A little trick I've learned over the years is to get underarmour bottoms and wear them under a pair of looser fitting jeans. Keeps you toasty warm, but no one will know that you have them on. Wear thick socks and it worked for me to just wear Pumas. Although be careful with suede shoes because water can ruin them. Apparently Uggs are incredibly warm and repel water to a certain degree (meaning, don't dunk them in your bathtub but they can handle snow, rain, and puddles) although in no way to I endorse them. Just get a good pair of boots that aren't very constricting so you can wear your warm socks. Athletic stores and outdoor stores (like Dick's Sporting Good's and Bass Pro) sell pocket warmers. You can pop them in your shoes and pockets. They work really well. How do I know all of this? I've been to Colorado in the winter skiing (where the weather is very windy, very snowy, and very chilly.) I live in Missouri, where if Mother Nature chooses (we never have consistent weather from year to year), it can get very, very, very cold. Two winters ago it was very mild, never getting below 40. And this past winter we had a foot of ice on the ground for the longest time. I have been hunting with my dad, and trust me, those mornings get very, very, very cold.
They will but when you go that fast it almost kills you and if you want your moterbike to last longer it would be bat to ride in the summer months the salt on the rodes will eat it
If you slip on a bicycle you will bruise, if anything. If you slip on a motorcycle at 50mph while commuting to work you may be dead. Motorcycling in winter weather is a VERY bad idea in my opinion. But, of course, it's your life.
