i think the can of resin is 32 oz and has a one oz tube of hardner with it. how many pounds or onces or kilograms of fiberglass cloth should i use up?
If you have a 4-pin to 4-pin, the connectors are the same on both ends of the cable. If you have a 4-pin to 6-pin, the connectors are NOT the same - and the end that does not fit in the camcorder is bigger - just like you describe. It sounds like you NEED a 4-pin to 4-pin but you are using either a 4-pin to 6-pin firewire cable or you are using the wrong (USB) cable.
All I know is that particles (atoms and smaller) are actually both: Particles and Waves. Everything around us looks like particles (things that can only be in one place at one time). Everything we look at in the world (chairs, people, insects, etc.) seems solid. But, through experiments, it has been found that there is another quality to these solid things around us. Mysteriously, everything is also waves. And this wave quality of a solid thing can be anywhere in the universe, in more than one place at one time. It means that there is a lot more right in front of us than we realize. We (and everything) are made up of a lot more than just solid matter.
