Ok, I have a 2000 Ford Mustang Gt, and I need an alarm, how much should I pay installed, what's the most and the least, cause too cheap is never good, neither is getting ripped off! What features should I get with the alarm also?
If you know it is not the batteries and by now the house hasn't burned down I would say that either a spider or something like dust got in there. They need to be vacuumed once in a while.
Probably get a replacement - at least that's what they advertise.
Most mains powered smoke detectors have a battery backup in the case of a power-cut. The chirping noise normally means the battery needs replacing. In most cases they are the 9v type.
