Well here's the story. I was dying my hair last night and for the first time since I started dying my hair (it's been about 8 years) I ended up getting dye on the cabinet. Well I've tried pretty much everything I can think of to get it off and it's stained. Now my aunt is pissed, as I knew she would be, and I need to replace the door where the dye stained.Does anyone know how much it costs to replace JUST the door. I've tried googling and all I keep getting are different sites such as OKorder's and Home Depot, and that's not what I need. Your help is appreciated.
If ply wood will satisfy you, cut the door out of two side good birch plywood. If you are going to use dimensional lumber, use what you want, but don't use Bass wood or poplar or pine. I hope you know what you are doing.
Then roll on a coat of the water-based latex paint with a foam roller, let dry/cure overnight.
