My bathroom is tiled all the way up the walls, which are plaster behind the tile. I need to install a vanity sink with the cupboard below, but how do I go about securing the vanity to the wall?
well there should be studs in your walls still and if you don't want to take the time to find them i would use wall anchors
it may stand on its own I put my own in without securing it to the wall
If you must anchor it to the tile, you need to get a diamond tip drill bit and drill through the tiles. Its alot easier just to make it realy flush with the wall and silicone it to it so the kids wont move it around. RTV silicone is best. You could also use construction adhedisive.
