Hajj is once every year, it takes up about 4 days.. But in the Islamic religion, you only have to do it once because it is one of the 5 pillars of Islam but if you are unable to do it then you don't have to for example you don't have enough money or mentally/physically unable.. By the way millions of people go there from many different countries!

I believe once a year, and thats according to the Muslim lunar calendar, and not ours based on the sun.
