In the olympic park 2012, on the river under the bridge, theres a machine which drops sheets of water in the form of words into the riverHow does it work?We were trying to work out if it actually drops just a sheet of water and just lights up a word on it, which is why its under a bridge (although you cant see the water inbetween the lettering, but maybe thats just coz its too dark to see it underneath the bridge) or whether it is actually amazingly precise at cutting the water into letter shapes?

Fascinating isn't itI cant be sure but my theory is that it is like an inkjet printer that releases the drops that make up the words one line at a time but instead of the paper moving gravity move the dropsGreat idea but I too found the lighting mad it difficult to read the words and I'm sure that it is under the bridge to try and get the right lightingI would have been sensible to have a plaque that explained it and maybe even told us what the words were.
