Question:

How to access and control other computers on my Mac OSX network?

I have a network of three computers. I want to be able to access them. But when I enable and edit who can control another computer, my laptop user doesn't appear in people that can log in. How do I fix this? Does the computer have to be on for me to access it? Help please.

Answer:

Turn the alarm off. He'll be late for work. Then maybe it wont happen again. Or just kick him out of bed when it goes off.
If he doesn't get up, either pour water on him or get a different alarm clock, e.g. those ones with the propellers that you have to catch.
Ooh, that sucks. I, too, would go crazy if I had to hear an alarm buzz for an hour straight, especially if it was 2-3 hours before I actually had to be up. He's either gotta change his habits or start sleeping in another room. Suggested habit changes: He can get an alarm that hooks up to earphones, and wear those. He could buy an alternative alarm clock something like clocky that rolls around the room and must be chased/caught to turn off; or there are puzzles to assemble in order to turn off the alarm; or yo-yo style alarms that dangle above the bed. Having to get out of bed and move around wakes people up. Set a coffee maker to a timer, the smell might help You could set up another alarm in the guest bedroom or on the couch. Once the first alarm goes off, he is welcome to reset it as often as he likes, provided he goes back to sleep in another room and resets the clock there. The only other option is to start waking up at 4am with him, and spend that time taking a shower or if you really want to get the point across, use the blender, coffee grinder or decide to vacuum the bedroom. You could also set a series of alarms to go off early on a Saturday or Sunday morning. That should get your point across. Come up with some sort of compromise or offer for him. It's not fair that he hits snooze constantly for an hour. Can he maybe set two alarms, one at 4:15 and one at 5:15? Or will he agree to limit the amount of times he hits snooze to say, three? Some people wake up easier than others, so try to be understanding when you talk to him likewise, he needs to understand that what he's doing is unfair and excessive.
I'd tell him that you are going to make sure he gets up when the alarm goes off the first time, if it means putting your cold feet on his back! My husband sets his alarm for 545, the first time he hits snooze I stick one foot out from under the blanket, the second time, the second foot. Third time I'M HIS ALARM CLOCK! He laughs, thinks it wakes me up too. WRONG ANSWER!!! He goes, I go back to sleep!
i would see an image of Alfred Hitchcock deeply embedded into the sheets from all of the fluids, like the king of horror he is, he would rise again. GAG BAG,GAG REFLEX
