Im making a light for a project and plan to use an aluminum tube, which is part of the structure, to carry a current through itMy problem is the solder will stick to the wire but wont stick to the tube! How else could i securely attach the wire to the tube without becoming too complicated?
Maybe he is cold or has poor circulation in his legs so they are cold no matter the temperatureI have a sweater on my lap all day, all seasons because my legs get coldThe CEO in my office wears a coat, because he is always cold.
What? Maybe he's cold? Why the hell is it your problem if he works with a blanket wrapped around his legs? It's not like you're going to be fired because he chooses to wear a blanket.
Just casually make a remark like it's pretty hot in here, how come you have a blanket or somethingHe might have a medical reason, he might just be attached to the blanketIt's not really your problem though.
You should crimp or solder a lug (probably a ring lug) to the wireDrill a small hole in the tube and use a small machine screw and nut to attach the lug to the tubeI would probably use a 6-32 screw and nut, no largerI know that this is not the answer you wanted to hear but mechanical attachment is sometimes the only good way.
