Ok kid you need to talk about what firemen call Fire Triangle , now the three sides of this triangle are; Fuel, source of ignition(spark etc.) and oxygen. Remove any one and fire won't happen even a already burning one will can be shut off by just removing say oxygen, process called smothering cause it breaks the Fire-triangle for example you cover a burning man with blanket or throw sand on fire, that is what it does(smother)..Other examples are like fire extinguisher. Now actual fire can occur at 'n' number of places say electrical fire, forest fire and so on, now we can't take away oxygen at all places cause we need it, so for fire safety we try to cut of source of ignition like Fire safety asks for no open fire in wooded places or at building electrical wiring should not be faulty and regularly checked, you can go on with so many examples, it will fill the lecture with fire physics talk, Now on dangerous fuel tanker which carry flammable liquids also take out the second side oxygen from tanks cause they dangerous fuels any little friction can create static electricity even if tank is closed Lastly you can site another phenomenon where you are not limited to Fire-Triangle; it happens in certain chemical reactions, eg.; like the ones used in underwater operation for under water cutting and welding.. You can expand and shrink all with examples and presentation Best Of Luck
When you rub your stick with mine it creates fire
It is a chemical reaction called combustion.
when temperature of any body is increased, atoms of that body get excited they loose some of their atomic energy or some of mass part or chemical energy to get converted into forth stage of matter plasma . This state is heat emitting we call it as fire good luck.
If the alarm is in front of your kitchen if you cook the alarm will go off like ours is always doing when cooking. It might damage the sensor if you bang it shut. There are two types..Ionization and photoelectric and for false alarms near kitchens they say get a photoelectric alarm. Do not forget that alarms save lives and so it is best to make sure they work and you have the right one for the job.
