Question:

how to get windshield wiper fluid to squirt?

my mom‘s windshield wiper fluid isnt squirting and is it because of the tempurature?it about 15F im guessing.she has a chevy tahoe, not sure if that can help solve the problem.so does anyone know why its not squirting and how to get it working again?please and thank you

Answer:

Does general purpose epoxy contain fiberglass? No. Epoxy is the resin. There is no glass in the resin. Resin + glass fiber fiberglass.
you have little jets up by the wipers and they could be clogged or the hoses going to them. take a tiny piece of wire and run through the jets and blow out the hoses. better check the washer fluid and see if the washer motor works first.
See if you can get the car in a garage or warm area. The problem, more then likely is you do not have winter antifreeze in the windshield washer. The line maybe frozen up. Sometime you can empty the bottle.refill it with the winter liquid.take a hair dryer and run it up and down the Squirter hoseto thaw it out. if the squirter is plugged? Try a small sewing pin and try to clear the opening slowly.then give everything another try. WATCH THE ATTACHED VIDEO HAPPY HOLIDAYS.
Did she put wiper fluid in the water tank or did she just put plain water?
General purpose epoxy does not contain fiberglass, but both epoxy and fiberglass resin are about equal in strength, what makes fiberglass so strong is the spun glass mesh that gets embedded with the resin. What are you doing that the bonding agent has to be clear ? I use epoxy and use sections or paper towels to act as a reinforcing agent to make a small, strong permanent bond on things from broken dental retainers, cracked pool filters, wooden handles, and so on. While the repair is not clear as glass, it is opaque and lacks any color.
