Could I put like a plastic bowl over the smoke detector in my dorm and tape around it so that it's sealed off from the air in my room? Or would that somehow set it off?Thanks for any help! Also, as a side note, yes I know smoking is bad. Please refrain from telling me that as it won't keep me from smoking. Also, don't tell me to smoke outside because it's cold. And no. I will not man up, I want to enjoy my smoke, not be shivering the whole time.
