Question Details: The argument i often hear from creationists is either i don't know how it happened, therefore god did it or more often i have a total misunderstanding of the science so i will use that to claim that god did it. It pains me further to find out that the latter sort tend to blow off any attempt to better their education in this area. This becomes a self fulfilling prophecy, i don't understand the science, therefore god did it, and i like the god did it idea, so i choose to ignore your reality and substitute my own. Having an bass-ackwards idea of what science is doesn't give one license to poo all over it. In fact, people like myself, and the scientific community at large would have more respect for your views if you could at least demonstrate a knowledge of that which you are attempting to refute.
