Remove the wheel, brake caliper (hang it out of the way. Don't let it dangle from the hose) Loosen the axle nut, strut mount to spindle, and lower control arm bolts. Remove the strut and axle bolt. Then remove the lower control arm with the spindle. Pry the axle out of the transmission.
