Question:

how to remove fittings from a cast iron radiator.?

I've already broken a wrench. tried using a pipe on the handle. Didn't work. The radiator is very, very old and the fittings have been on there since day one. I'd hate to have to saw it off, then I'd have trouble with the threads. Thanks for any help/ advise

Answer:

I would say air, but you get rid of what's in your way, so maybe a bit of fire as wellno, just fire.
Not me pal. Studded tires rip up our roads and as a taxpayer I can't recommend them. When the going gets tough I keep a set of strap on chains available.
some smoke detector do run out due to the battery. But you have kinds that gives you a signal if it's out of date
