Question:

How to remove windshield wiper from the gearbox transmission?

91 Dodge Ram 250. I have tried pulling, prying, etc. I need the hole wiper arm removed to see if it has sheard completely off. I can not get the wipers to move and know the motor is trying to work, but just not moving the blades at all. I know how to take off the actually wiper blade from the arm so please don‘t explain that procedure

Answer:

At the base of the arm there is usually a clip that needs to be pulled or pryed outward to release the arm from the drive.
To get the arms off the spindles, I went to the automotive supply store and purchased something called a wiper arm puller. It didn't cost me more than $5. This was after I pulled my wipers off using my own 2 hands, a lot of wd40 and swear words you've never heard from a girl.
