I need to write a bit on how new technology affected the construction of the Berlin Wall, but I can't find anythingSo I'm going to write how new technology has had little/no effectSo far I know that it was built by hand with bricks and cement, and that bricks were delivered by truck.
initially it was barbed wire fenceStreets were bricked closed laterThen concrete slabs were brought in by truck and erected with small cranesThe wall was improved over time and became 2 walls with watch towers, mine fields, motion detectors, infrared cameras etc.
