Not to my knowledge. Detectors work on walls in locating internal density, heat and metal. Water is liquid. Besides, water leaks always follow the law of gravity and seek the lowest point or level. The recent installation may be a clue in reference to the leak. Any plumbing added could be the culprit. Is it a water line problem or a sewer problem? More than likely, one of your fittings is leaking. Could the toilet bowl seating ring be leaking? Is there condensation from the tank dripping onto the floor? Is the toilet tank water line ok and not leaking? By rubbing the palm of your hand against the underside of the tank can determine a slow leak. Check all these things before removing any wall.
