I am doing a cross word and can not find an answer. The clue is &lock Parts& and I believe it ends with airs

Answer:

Agree with the other posters, but have a couple of questions/observations: 1) CO is a weightless gas that mixes with air. It should therefore be detected at around the height of your head when you are sleeping - and that is where the Consumer Product Safety Commission recommends you place the sensor. Smoke detectors, on the other hand, are place by code on the ceiling or very high on the wall, since smoke rises (but at least 4 from the corner where ceiling and wall meet). 2) You should have monitored smoke detectors. What happens when you are not home and there is a fire - or i you are home, and are overcome by smoke? The only safe smoke detector is one that is part of a monitored alarm system, for your safety. By the way, good alarm systems also have monitored CO detectors, for the same reason.
1. Austria has the oldest continuously operated salt mine in the world (goes back to the stone age, when people used deer antlers to dig out salt, and is now extremely modern). 2. Going a little forward in history, Austria has several medieval castles and monasteries that are very interesting to tour. 3. The Danube river is a major historic and also beautiful river of Europe. Tours are great. 4. Vienna, Salzburg and Innsbruck are all wonderful cities to visit. 5. Austria has many small towns and villages with ineresting old inns where you can eat great local food. 6. I adore the trained Lipizzaner horses, which perform at the Spanish Riding Acadeemy in Vienna and can be seen, complete with the sweetest foals, at the the stud in Piber. 7. There are several nice cathedrals and other churches. See especially Sankt Stephan's in Vienna (make sure to go up the bell tower to see the view). 8. The highest mountain in Austria (Grossglockner) can be visited by road in the summer. Lovely trip through a wonderful National Park. 9. The Woerthersee (Lake Woerth) next to Klagenfurt is a huge clean lake that is very warm due to its sun exposure and so great for swimming (also for sailing). 10. There are endless paths through forests and up and down mountains where you can hike.
I don't know about ten things but I do know that they have beautiful mountains in the alps and really nice trains.
