kettle-SS, cast iron ,copper stain resistant/heatconduction phone wire-copper electrical conductivity post bos Al-light weight rust resistant pen-spring steel, flexible over lolng term use horse shoe-malleableiron/steel easy to form to horse's foot shape Church bell-bronze tonal quality of metal when rung trumpet-brass formability +tone quality when vibrated foil-Al formability to kitchen use, cheap Propeller-bronze toughness resistance to wear corroision
For a quick touch up, toss it in the dryer on a low heat with a fabric softer sheet for about 10 minutes, a lot of the dog dander and hair will come looseAs to the type of yarn, if it feels really soft and faded it might be wool - do not throw in the wash machineYou can always take to the dry cleaners and ask them - you don't have to leave it with them to have it cleaned if you don't want toIf it feels more synthetic it's probably acrylic which is machine washable and dryable.
