Question:

Materials that can transport light and reserve uv rays?

Hello, I'm trying to figure out a material that transports natural sunlight and also preserves UV rays or better yet transports UV rays efficiently.

Answer:

You really need to find out what suits you the best. Different people have different experiences with different gear. For example Daddy1 says abu garcia is all he will buy, I will never buy another Abu Garcia product because I have had bad experiences w/ them, they simply will not hold up to what I do. I like Diawa and Quantum products but I'm sure there are people out there that hate them. I own about 20 rod and reels and use 12 consistantly.
If you are thinking about the blanket causing a fire, that is very unlikely. However some people are concerned with the electromagnetic field it makes which when left on for an extended time could possibly cause health concerns. This is controversial like many things. So you have to decide who to believe. Microwave ovens have the same issues, some people say the doors often leak radiation which is harmful to humans. Personally I would not sleep with an electric blanket turned on. I turn it on an hour before bedtime, then turn it off when I get in bed, the bed is cozy warm and the electricity is turned off, soon I am sound asleep.
