Question:

i drive a 95 nissan sentra and one of the windshield wipers doesnt work but the other one does.?

do i just replace the motor or.is there something connecting. hmph

Answer:

On 1995 sentra there are separate parts available for your wiper transmission (yes transmission) on the wiper motor there is a crank with ball studs that turn in a circle a flat metal rod with two bushings transmits motion to the other wiper blade shaft where there is another lever with a ball stud. Ice on the window rusted solid wiper shafts can cause the rod to pop off the wiper transmission ball studs. Some cars have two wiper transmission rods one between the wiper shafts and another from the motor to the wiper blade levers. (note) the new rods are super tight and snapping them on may need a C clamp and some cussing. Good Luck
Both wipers work off the same motor, if you do ever figure out how to remove the wiper arms and cowl you will see the linkage, in which case you will discover what has become disconnected sometimes its a very simple fix, other times you will have to buy the little plastic bushing that holds the linkage arms togeather,
Your wiper transmission is broken. This is the part that connect the wipers to the wiper motor. You should be able to pick up an used wiper transmission between $25 and $40.
