Question:

I felt a bump under my car?

I was driving down the street and I passed by a bunch of kids at 90 miles an hour and a few seconds later my f 550 duelie truck kind of bounced up like I was driving over a speed bump . I also heard some screaming and some blood splashed on my window but I just kind wiped it off and figured it was just some weird rain

Answer:

Can you run as fast as you did as a teen, can you do strenuous things without hurting the next day. We all break down do to getting older. Smokes are the same. They become less sensitive and dusty over the years. Some suggest every 10 years. I think 7 is probably the best. If you have smokes and they are all hard wired (110v) together I would make sure to change them all at once , and are all the same, as they should be compatible to work with each other.battery back ups should make sure you change e the batteries after a year or sooner if there have been several power failures. Most Fire Depts recommend changing them the day you turn the clocks back in the fall. Also check on the CO detectors
Snow tires will help but you should carry chains. When we moved from Phoenix to Flagstaff we had only a pair of RWD cars and they struggled badly even with sand in the back and studded snow tires. Here the hills make it worse, but you will want to get snow tires anywhere snow falls. If the existing tires are all-season they may not be too bad, just not as good as real winter tires. If they are summer tires they will be slippery even on clear dry roads because the tread will harden in the cold and the traction will be worse than if they are bald in warmer weather.
The mold release stuff is made so that if you're going to make a mold in something, you can get it out. Without using the mold release before you put the resin on the inside of the mold, you can't get the object out of the mold. Sorry, your molds must be destroyed to get the stuff out. Next time, do it right!
