Question:

I got these oil paints.what do I paint with them on?

I have never tried to paint in my life but always wanted toI don't have the first clue about surfaces or brushes thoughAny guidance?

Answer:

yeah, my daughter used to dislike them, but never that badI'd say, dress her in a very warm sleeper at night, and tell her pediatricianMaybe he/she knows what to do.
You could try a sleeping bag and she wont be able to kick one off and it will just feel like clothes on herYou can get them in mothercare and babies r us, but tescos, asda and matalan do them alot cheaper.
I don't have any blankets on my daughter as she goes mad if I try to cover her up so I use sleep bags they are an absolute God send.
I would put her in a sleep sackMy daughter is almost 4 months old and refuses to sleep with a blanket on her alsoWhen it's cold we sleep her in a sleep sackIt's big enough that she can still kick her little feet all she wants, but still be warm!
Oil paints can be used on just about any surface-wood, canvas, paper, etcYou use linseed oil to blend the paint and turpentine to clean your brushesBrushes should be stiffUse someting to mix your paints-a palette of some sort-cardboard, wood, plastic, even aluminum foilHowever, oil paint takes a long time to dry, sometimes 6 months to a yearThe paint itself is used by the wet into wet technique since each time you use it you are blending the lindseed oil into the paint I prefer acrylic paintIts a new paint You use water for mixing the colors together and water for clean-up.Stiff brushes are preferred as with oil paint. The paint itself is dry to the touch in an hour and a halfClear acrylic sealer is used over the paint to seal itOil paint can also use a sealer you can get at wal-mart.
