Question:

I have a chicken roaster with giblets but no roasting panCan I cook in crockpot?

I have no idea how to cook this thing without a roasting panI've only used a crockpot 3 or 4 times and have only done London broil or pot roastCan I cook this thing in a crockpot after removing the giblets? Do I need to tie the wing backs? Does anyone have any recipes? I don't want this gigantic thing to go to waste (someone gave it to us.don't ask)Thanks!!

Answer:

Forget the electric blanket and get her a down comforterIts just as warm and it keeps working if the power goes out.
Stay away from SunbeamThey are complete junk! I have returned more than I can count because after only a couple of uses, the light starts flashing and they no longer work!
GE seems to work.but instead of washing the blanket, just put in dryer with a fabric sheet, this works better than washing it.I have cats too!
Baked Chicken - with an adjustment of brothYou can add your favorite herbs and spices, lemon, onion, garlic, etc You don't have to tie the wings backYou can cook it on high for two hours and lower the heat for 5Ingredients 1 (2 to 3 pound) whole chicken 2 cups chicken broth salt and pepper to taste 1 teaspoon paprika Directions 1Wad three pieces of aluminum foil into 3 to 4 inch balls, and place them in the bottom of the slow cookerAdd 2 cups chicken broth 2Rinse the chicken, inside and out, under cold running waterPat dry with paper towelsSeason the chicken with the salt, pepper and paprika, and place in the slow cooker on top of the crumbled aluminum foil 3Set the slow cooker to High for 1 hour, then turn down to Low for about 8 to 10 hours, or until the chicken is no longer pink and the juices run clear.
