They will do an interview at home, to see her in her environment, and then make suggestions and teach you how to curb the problems you currently have. She'll definitely need some boundary work at homeshe has to learn that you are the boss, the pack leader, at all times, not just when you want her to sit for a treat. Walking on a leash properly is just one of those fundamentalsgotta have that down or you really don't have respect as a pack leader. You could also read up on a couple of Cesar Milan books. He almost always resorts to teaching a dog to walk on a leash correctly right off the bat, before he teaches people anything else, because it is a simple, intuitive way for a dog to learn boundaries and rules. Do a little research on Cesar and his teachings, if you aren't familiar, and look into having a trainer come to do a behavioral consult. We did one for two bulldogs we had, and it was $75 for an hour, and she stayed an extra 45 minutes with no extra charge. Many trainers will stay as long as you need them, unless things go very quickly. ;)
