Question:

I have serious guitar question, I had received an Esteban electric/acoustic guitar?

for my birthdayNow I'm not familiar with this brand guitar at all it's the weirdest thing because it has a plastic fretboard that is very stupid it's not wood like a normal fretboard and plus the action is way to high it's so hard to fret any notesI know I have to replace the strings since there old, the guitar is second hand after all the bridge is starting to pry off the body of the acoustic tooI know the tuning machines had been replaced I could tell which may be a good thing but all in all should I just get rid of this guitar and get more of a decent one? I've read a lot of bad reviews on the this guitarI don't want to hurt my families feelings for buying it for me eitherI would like to have a decent acoustic.

Answer:

I have seen several recipes for this wonderful concoction most take up to an hour to prep and cookI use this method: 1 1/2 cup boiling water 1 cup corn meal cook stirring constantly until thickened add 1 can sweetened condensed milk add 1 can creamed corn cook and stir until thickened to desired point Total time: 12 to 15 minutes
I haven't heard anything good about Estebans from guitar players, and I played one and it was trashThe guitar having a plastic fretboard is a dead giveaway that its trashThe issues you just said will take more than a setup to fixWhen the bridge starts coming up, it needs to be completely removed and regluedYour guitar needs about $150 worth of work at minimumI'd prefer to put the $150 towards a nice $350 Fender or YamahaGet it used on Ebay and get a better deal on themEsteban is pure trashId like to smash one!!!
