Does that line single handily prove Soulja Boy is GOAT?
Any snake has the potential to bite, but most species kept as pets are selected based on their rather easy going nature. So long as they are handled regularly they generally don't feel threatened by humans and so don't bite. Like any other pet, snakes still need regular care and handling to maintain a good disposition. I'm partial to Kenyan sand boas myself - that's what I got for my first snake. Their defensive reaction when they are insecure is to make a sudden thrash to get away instead of biting. There are lots of different factors involved in selecting the right snake for you, so be sure to do your research on their needs to find the kind that would best suit your lifestyle.
