This is easy; you probably just leave the cookies in too longThe biggest mistake everyone makes is overcooking the cookiesDon't do that! They don't have to brown and done on top to be doneTake them out while they are still soft on top, but just starting to turn brown around the edgesThe rest of the cookie will cook itself in residual heat, AND the cookie will stay soft and delicious into the next day Stop overcooking!!!
Try using parchment paper, and a slightly lower temp/longer cooking time or Do you have any stonewear, like a pizza stone? I bake my cookies on a pizza stone, and have not had a problem since.
I have found that if I bake all cookies, brownies cakes 1-3 minutes less then the recipe says, they come out alot more moist chewyIt is not my oven since I have always done this in many different ovensIt worksYou could also try placing a sheet of foil over your cookie sheetSimply lift off to cool cookies place a new sheet of foil over cookie sheet for the next batch to go into oven!
I if you don't want to have kids just yet you should probably talk to her because you're only 19 years old and its too soon but you should tell her that you do want to have kids with her just not now cause your doing your apprenticeship and she is just about to become an RN you guys won't have enough time maybe you guys should wait just a few more years
a dark pan will make them dark on the bottoms if you have no other pan you can put foil on your cookie sheet I never bake them as long as the recipe says.
