I'm leaving for vacation in 2 days and want a new game to take so I don't get bored so any suggestion.(Preferably a racing game)
convinced you should do it over the internet yet you want 2 valid ip handle and quickly information superhighway connection, one for the host and the different one for the shopper pcthen in case you want to achieve the different pc confusing drives or archives and softwars use distant computercall me in case you want more suitable suggestion.
For that to work compter X needs to be configured as a router and and the routers configured with correct routesSteve is confusing routers with proxy servers.
I don't think bridging is going to solve your issue - if you setup the computer that connects to both networks as a proxy server you could make this workYou need to turn to either turn off dhcp on the network that is on the non-internet side or put the ip address of the the proxy machine in the router as the defualt gateway so when it assigns the addresses in the closed network it will point all internet bound traffic to your proxy serverThe proxy server needs to have a static address instead of dhcp on the closed sideThere are some free proxy server software out there you can find with a quick google search To go back to the original issueall this could be avoided if you use the router's wan port on the closed network to connect to any of the lan ports on the internet side.
