have a question, do you have to remove a factory alarm to instal a alrm. Is it ok if i remove the factory alarm off in my 1994 dodge ram.
Personally, i hate Zone alarm. i would STRONGLY recomment getting Avira and Ccleaner. Those are two programs that are very good for moderate PC users.
The others are correct, and you should NEVER use that contractor again. he said no, but heat pumps do use freon and freon needs to be refilled every two years or so Bull twinkies!!!! That will kill your system just as surely as taking a sledge hammer to it! Freon (a brand name of refrigerant made by DuPont) does not need to be topped off or added for any reason OTHER than you have a leak. The original charge (if done correctly) will last the lifetime of the unit and then some. If it does lose ANY of that charge, then you do indeed have a leak, and that should be the first order of buisness. Find the leak and fix it. Al
