I went on a road trip and in the middle one of the balls came off my piercing. I lost the ball and had to hold my ring in until we got to the next town. now its been about five weeks and since then it has been very swollen again and at one point the regrowth on the inside of my lip turned into a bloody ball of puss. Ive always wanted my lip pierced so im really reluctant to take out the piercing. I would like to get a full time job and i don't know of anywhere in the area that will hire people with facial piercings. Do you have any advice about how to help the healing process so that i can change my ring to one that i can actually get a job with?
Hmmm I'm not sure, you have me scratching my head Is it possible that the smoke detectors are picking up either a small gas leak or perhaps maybe even carbon dioxide gases??
be prepared for the wind to put you to the other lane. keep your eyes opean. i know in the mid west you can watch the lay of the land and guess whats comeing. keep to the side of the road the wind is coming from so when it pushes you have an extra 6 foot to adjust. and remeber when you pass a truck they block the wind to dont go rideing under his trailor. just ride safe and keep your mind on the task at hand.
You will need to stay low first off. Make sure you don't over compensate when a gust of wind hits you or stops. Your bike needs to be heavy. If you have a light bike I would not try it. And of course wear your helmet and leather jacket and chaps. These are hot but they can save your lifegood luck
Get a big bike with a low profile, like a Nomad or Harley. A heavier bike is less susceptible to winds. I have an 800 pound Nomad and it's rock steady in a crosswind.
what kind of beginner bike? a beginner cruiser or sportbike? I ride a buell firebolt that weighs in at about 420lbs with fluids. I get blown around pretty bad when the wind is really gusting. If i get a 25mph cross wind i get blown sideways a little, but it's not really that bad if you know how to counter it. Whenever the wind starts hitting me, i just steer the oposite direction it's blowing me. It's not really that complicated. If your just worried about head winds or tail winds, you don't have to do anything really. It's just the cross winds. If you haven't already bought something, don't worry about specific 'begginer bikes. It's a good idea, but not realistic for a lot of people (it wasn't for me). a 600cc sport bike (non-supersport!), or a 750cc cruise will be more than fine.
