Question:

I seem to attract submissive personality guys, is it normal?

Like they want me to give them quot;ordersquot; on what to do, and if I'm going to be on a relationship I want it to be a democracy not a dictatorship.

Answer:

I fully agree with the idea of a democracy in a relationshipI give, or take, orders depending on who's better at what they're doingUsing the home as an example, if he's better at cooking and I'm better at mechanical stuff, I'll ask him to assist me while I'm working on the cars and assist him while he's in the kitchenGranted, more often than not, just staying out of the way is the best assistance to give sometimesIf we're going out to eat, we discus restaurants until we hit one we both agree onAs to attracting guys with submissive personalities, I couldn't say one way or the other whether that's normal or notThat's probably something you have to look into yourself I have an ex that's probably looking for the submissive typeI'm not, which explains why the relationship was short livedHe couldn't fathom the fact that I'd be directing a crane lift late at night and wouldn't immediately return texts, among other thingsEven though we're not together anymore, I still get text messages several times a year to get a vintage car his family owns ready for parades and drive it for them(None of them know how to drive a column shift 3 speed, and refuse to be taught.) I haven't yet, and usually each time I fail to reply or show, I find an in box full of expletive laden e-mails telling me what a prick I amI keep waiting for notes wrapped around bricks to come through the windows of the houseIf you've got a submissive guy who's good with cars, can drive a column shift 3 speed, and doesn't mind dropping everything for anything from parades to dinner parties that make a death sentence sound pleasurable, let me knowI'll send you the ex's linkD
