I have a compaq presario CQ60 and I have my charger, been working okay, except when I plug it in I have to twist it a little for it to work. Now, to my main problem. I recently used it today, working fine for about an hour, but it automatically stopped charging. The light turned off, no matter WHAT plug I use, and no matter how much I twist it. Thgis has happened before, and I replaced my battery and charger. And another time, It happened but, my little brother has the same BRAND computer, not the same TYPE. His is smaller than mine. So that time, I used his charger. 7 hours later, I try my charger and returns to normal. Now Today, my charger won't work, so I returned to using his, which works JUST FINE. I want to know what is happening with my charger, Im FREAKING out.
Your charger has a loose connection on the wire cable somewhere at the point where you are twisting it. You need to buy a new charger for your computer or you can bring it to any Technician to repair it.
