i thght my car was flooded but then i checked the fuses and saw the fuel pump fuse was blown but when i replaced itlt; that one blew rite away!
you have a dead short in that circuit. unhook the fuel pump relay and try another fuse. if it blows again, it is before the relay. if it doesnt blow. unhook the fuel pump and reconnect the relay. if it still doesn't blow, the problem is in the tank wiring or in the pump itself. keep ruling components out until you find the short. a bad pump usually will not blow a fuse,, but a bad pump CAN blow a fuse!!
You need to trace the wire begining at the pump you have a short . a bad pump will not blow the fuse.
The fuel pump is probably bad. Although, a bare wire rubbing against a metal bracket or something could cause a short in the wiring.
