Question:

If colored anodized aluminum is melted, will it retain the color that it had?

To be more specific, if I have, lets say, a deep blue or deep red piece of anodized aluminum and I melt it and remold it into some other shape, will the color still be there or will it be destroyed by the heating process? Also, can the aluminum be extracted back and the color lost? Thanks a lot :o)

When I was 13, I read that women are old when they're 20 years oldI was real worriedThen when I was 16 or 17, I read somewhere that 26 years mean old age for womenWhen I was in my twenties, I read or heard somewhere that women are really old when they're 30 years oldNow I am in my ., but I can see women can be attractive and young no matter how old they are.
That when you wanted a baby it would be born with a machine and you would press boy or girlThat the baby came out of the stomachThen when I saw a jersey that said 34 fingers it meant he had 34 fingersnot the actual personI also believed that stuffed animals came alive at night.
I couldn't sleep from worrying that if I found the edge of the world I would fall off itthen I got the idea into my head that if it took me more than a certain amount of time to get to sleep, I would randomly die in my bedI was one retarded 5 year old x?D EDIT: oh yeah, and I used to think that moving house meant someone picked up their house, put it on a lorry, and drove it to a new place.
the coating is microscopic in thickness so yes, reheating it/melting it will destroy the colorthe color will fade over time due to sun and heat as wellthink of it as nothing more than a fancy paint job or a very good powder coat job but on a molecular level in the metal.
