i have a 96 jeep grand cherokee rwd. i found a universal car lift kit for a rwd car that i want to put into my jeep but idk if it matters if my car is 4 wheel drive or not so what am i asking is will it work if i put that in

I assume you're talking about a body lift. Don't do it, please. You will not be happy and your Jeep will look ugly. Not to mention it will be unbelievably unsafe with that amount of BL. You typically do not want to exceed 2 of BL, IF THAT!! Go with a 4 suspension lift, and do it right (and safer).
