dream clown - When this card is changed from Attack Position to Defense Position, select and destroy 1 monster on your opponent's side of the field. stumbling -As long as this card remains face-up on the field, any monster that is Normal Summoned, Flip Summoned or Special Summoned successfully is changed to Defense Position. pulling rug-Negate the activation and effect of an Effect Monster whose effect activated when a monster was Normal Summoned (even itself), and destroy that Effect Monster.
pulling the rug won't work. dream clown's effect works when it's switched from attack to defense position. if stumbling is on the field and you summon dream clown in attack mode, stumbling will switch it in defense mode. since dream clown's effect only activates when it's switched from attack to defense, pulling the rug won't work because it only negates the effect of monsters that activate when normal summoned (monarchs, gadgets, etc.)
