Question:

If I print on a plastic sheet, will it melt in the canon laser printer?

plastic sheet as in like for lamination, with the transparent sheets... PLEASE REPLY!!

Answer:

Laminate will absolutely melt in a laser printer. The fuser in the laser Printer is designed to melt plastic. Only high Temperature plastics designed for use in laser printers will be safe tor print on.
Likely yes. The fuser element inside the printer does get hot, and will likely melt plastic. They do make plastic sheets that can withstand the heat, but they would be specifically marked Safe for laser printers.
You can only use certain plastic sheets for laser printers. Make sure the sheet is rated for lasers. Using some random plastic may melt under the hot fusing temperature of a laser printer...
Depends on the plastic, but laminate sheets would probably melt. Most laser printer have fuser temperatures at or around 400F, so only plastics specifically made for laser printers should be used.
IT WILL MELT unless is for laser printers
