Different tech for different purposes. Sipes are small cuts or slits in the blocks of a tire's tread. These give water a place to move into, to avoid hydroplaning and give better wet traction. Truck and off-road tires are often siped at the dealer before going on the trucks. Studs are useful only on snow ice. The metal studs give traction in extreme ice snow situations. Most snow tires ARE siped, because it helps them handle water on the road. Studded tires are only allowed on-road during winter months in most places; the metal studs do tend to wear on the pavement.
in Oregon they do still sipe tires, it does not take away from the warrenty.
Faith has nothing to do with it. We still live in the physical world and as such we are bound by the laws of the physical realm.such as if lightning strikes a building, it needs to have a lightning rod to direct the strike to the ground and thereby leaving the church unharmed. The same applies to the locks on the church doors.this only started because people had the balls to steal from a church! When I was a kid, you literally could go to church to pray at any time of the day. Not any more thanks to thieves.
