Question:

If we are a coop and they use our water for a fire do we just have to consider it as a loss?

We are charged and only allowed to use so many acre feet of water. We are not in city limits so we do not benifit from the taxpayers. We cant really even keep track of the water useage, because fire hydrants don't have meters on them so we basically are in a lose lose situation I guess.

Answer:

Push the connector in to the detector gently then squeeze the 2 tabs together and pull it out. Not always easy and usually in an awkward place but that is how to do it.
Tilt my head back I love the feel of the rain dropping on my face.
