I know this is a random question, but we just moved across the state, and our pull out sofa bed was like torture to move. I am bruised up and down my arms and have been sore for days. (I can't afford pros to move..)I'm thinking of selling this behemoth and getting an Ektorp IKEA sofa - are they pretty light?? My goal is to only own things that my husband and I can move on our own....
i have the Ektorp sofa with the pull-out queen size bed. the heaviest part of the entire sofa is the pull out bed because it is a metal frame. the ektorp sofa comes in three parts (well at least the sectional i got) and if you were moving it alone i can tell you it's very easy. one good healthy person can move the three sections on their own. two people is always fun
Ikea couches are light and last years, and they sell covers you can wash.
