in my automobile my check engine light is on.any one know why.or how i can fix it?
are you serious? the check engine light doesn't just go on for no reason, you need to take it in to a mechanic! seriously, wtf?!
My Check Engine light comes on, on my vehicle from time to time, but goes away, it's probably a sensor that's acting weird, check all your fluids and make sure all your gauges seem to be reading fine, and drive it a little and see if it goes away, As long as the light is Solid, it's nothing to worry about at the moment, if it start flashing, then you have problems.
The Check Engine Light is nothing more than a signal that there is a fault somewhere in the system. It could be any number of reasons for it to have come on. Take your car to an Autozone or an Advance Auto Parts store. Either one of these will for free hook up a diagnostics reader to the car and that will give you a code which you can look up on the internet and see what the code is referring to. Depending on the code, you may be able to fix it yourself or you might have to take it to a mechanic. It could be things like sensors failing, sensors detecting improper fuel-air mixtures, faulty emissions control, etc.
