does anyone know anything about resin casting?i am looking to cast ceramics in resin but want it to be coloured. i only have the clear resin and was wondering what the coloured resin is called or if i can put some type of dye into the clear resin.also is there another type of material like resin?
lately everything is being considered a risk, due to the unfortunate society that we live in. Be on the safe side (and save your garlic crusher) stick it in your suitcase. It will save you time and trouble
Right now(as I am writing) the Temperature is 1° C, it is expected to range between the 3° to -8° C range this week. your average Refrigerator is usually set between 1.6° to 3.3° C (as per official recommendation) Which means your Ice Cube at the North Pole would be cooler than the one in your refrigerator (as long as you shield it from direct Sunlight and thermal radiation from warmed up surface Ice or air) the coldest temperature achievable in the Universe would be -273.15° C (but that's near impossible to achieve) Ice/water also tends to act weird and differently at different cold temperatures, and supercooled Ice has properties completely different from regular Ice. If you just want a very cold cube to cool/freeze a drink, I'd suggest using another compound instead of H2O, CO2(Dry Ice would be colder than regular Ice) you could also put solidified Nitrogen Ice into your drink(it would likely explode due to the temperature difference) Both CO2 N2 are okay to consume and are not toxic if put in a drink. If you Just want very cold water, you'll need Lab equipment, there is only so much that your Home Refrigerator can do, after a while lowering the temperature in your appliance won't have any serious affect (due to the resultant heating from your refrigerator cooling stuff inside and the heat from the air outside and the Heat load carrying capacity capability of your refrigerator's coolant can only cool the stuff inside to a certain temperature. If you happen to be obscenely rich, I'd suggest launching your Ice cube into space and keep it on the dark side of the earth, constantly facing away from the sun by hiding behind the earth, while protecting the earth facing side with heat reflective material to prevent the heat radiating off of the earth to warm your ice cube. Good Luck! Go ask a well equipped Science Lab at a good University/College to see if they can help you out with your cooling issue. Here is a link to get you started:
Yes, it could. The safety inspector is enforcing rules that are NOT set by him, but by the company. Cut him some slack, he's trying to keep his joband yours too.
