Question:

Inventing a motorcycle with training wheels?

Would I be rich if I came up with this project? Tired of waiting till summer to ride your motorcycle? Tired of sliding on falling on slippery pavement? Well I got training wheels you can hook right on to prevent that! Don‘t waist money on a winter car! hahaGood idea bad idea?

Answer:

Already been done.it's called a Sidecar.
they are ripping you off big time, here where i live from the manifold all the way back including all new exhaust pipe, new catilac convertor and new mufflers all welded together is no more than $300.00, changes are your convertor is still good, so therefore you should only have to replace the pipes and maybe your muffler. you should be able to do it yourself for no more than $200.00, it requires very few tools. a few wrenches, probably a hacksaw and a hammer would be about all you need. most of it is just put together with muffler clamps and hangers. not a hard job, just a dirty job. hope this helps in some way. good luck.

I've never paid anyone to fix an exhaust. Of course you can fix it yourself. Just go to AutoZone and ask them to order you a new exhaust and any related gaskets. You may need new bolts too since you'll probably break off the existing ones during removal. One day job in the backyard!
