most cars trucks with a electronic shift lock have a solenoid under the shifter panel/cover I would think you need a new solenoid sometimes they wear out or soda or coffee gets spilled and it gets in there shorts it out. The part is usually only available at the dealership less then $100 and not to hard to install.
When someone walks in or drives up to your station to report a fire or another type of an emergency instead of getting sent by the dispatch center. Thats a still alarm. I am a firefighter.
